Solo works for the Guitar: A Luso-Brazilian and Hispanic Evening of Classical Music and Poetry


Christoph Denoth is an internationally acclaimed guitar soloist. Born in Basel, he has travelled the world over to perform with chamber-orchestra ensembles and international music festivals. He was recently named the first musician in residence at Balliol College, Oxford. He is very interested in the connections between music and poetry and has performed and composed music to Garcia-Lorca's Canciones. On this occasion, he will be playing a repertoire of Heitor-Villa Lobos, Isaac Albeniz, Fernando Sor, and Manuel de Falla."
